Payne Transportation L.P. Acquires Quality Carriers

Winnipeg – June 1, 2010 - Payne Transportation L.P is pleased to announce it has entered into agreement to purchase Ger-Ed Transport Ltd. of Winnipeg, MB and GVT Transport Inc. of Winkler, MB.

Both Letters of Intent (LOI) are completed and finalization is pending due diligence. A projected closing date of June 30th is planned for both acquisitions.

Consistent with Payne Transportation’s sustained growth development strategy, these new additions develop Payne Transportation’s Specialized Division and compliment both the Open Deck and Dry Van Division.
